What a joy to be in Sunday School! Christian education is one of the most important ministries in which a church can engage. We cherish those times of study that cause us to grow in our relationship with Jesus. Our Sunday School has dedicated and gifted volunteers. So, we welcome and invite children of all ages to grow in faith, love, and obedience to the will of God.
Nursery (Ages birth – 3years) — 9:45am – 11:15am (located on the main level next to the pastor’s office)
Rainbows and Shooting Stars are released from the worship service typically after the anthem or children’s message.
Rainbows (Ages 3 – Kindergarten) (located in the lower level north) Rainbows use a Presbyteriancurriculum called Walk with me. Through the year, they “walk”through the Bible by learning and acting out stories, making crafts, playing games, and singing songs.
Shooting Stars (First Grade – Fifth Grade) (located in the lower level north) Shooting Stars follows a rotational workshop model. The year is broken in to 4-6 week sections. During each section the children attend a different workshop aimed at teaching the Bible story for that section in a new way. This is a great way to engage children’s many different learning styles. By the end of the section, the children will have had the opportunity to learn the Bible lesson through playing games, acting it out in a drama, making artwork, making AND eating snacks, doing science experiments, completing mission projects, and watching a video.
Sixth Grade – Eighth Grade (meet in the Youth Loft) Youth meet at 10am
Senior High (located in the lower level south) Youth meet at 10am
