Welcome Jim and Barb Clayton to our congregation. Read below to find out more about them. Be sure to stop them and introduce yourself!
Barb is from Blufton and Jim grew up in Lafayette. They met at Purdue University. Jim graduated two years ahead of Barb and went to the US Army. After two years in the Army, they were married in 1952 and then moved to Frankfort and raised four children. They were members of Frankfort First Presbyterian Church for over forty years.
While in Frankfort, Barb taught Home Economics and Jim was a manufacture representative selling electronic components.
When Jim retired, they moved to South Carolina for 12 years and then to Louisville for 10 years. After 10 years, they decided to move north to be closer to our children and moved to Riverwalk Commons retirement community. The Clayton’s sons live east of Noblesville about
15 minutes away and in Lafayette. Their daughters lives in Rensselaer and in Michigan.
When Jim and Barb moved to Noblesville, they visited several churches in the area. They decided to try FPC and said they “were happy with what we found. It felt like home!”
We’re glad you did!
