Hello!  We are the Roe family.  My name is Kristin, I am the Assistant Director at a local preschool but at home I am most known as “mommy.”  Nathan my husband of seven years is a software engineer and a wonderful father.

Brynzlee Grace is our oldest daughter, she turned three this year and is enjoying being in “big kid church” aka the Rainbow room for Sunday School.  Our youngest daughter happens to currently hold the title of being the youngest member of Noblesville First Presbyterian Church.  Zella Lou was born on August 14th and is such a blessing.

Nathan and I are both originally from central Illinois.  Nathan grew up in the Catholic Church and I grew up  in a small town Methodist church.  Our faith has always been a huge part of our relationship and we knew finding a church for us to raise a family was a top priority.

In the Spring of 2009 Nathan was working in Carmel, IN.   We had just gotten married and I had just graduated from college and made the move from Illinois to Indiana.  We started looking for a church that we both enjoyed.  It was very important to us that our church felt like a family.  We visited several different churches in the area before finding FPC.

From the first Sunday we visited, we knew FPC was the place for us.  We loved everyone taking the time to greet and welcome us, we loved the way Pastor Eric’s sermon seemed to speak directly to us (and continues to do so), and of course we loved the fellowship hour after church with lots of good food and conversation.

We decided almost immediately to become members of FPC.  Since then Brinzley has been baptized and we have both taken on several responsibilities within the congregation..  We love serving our church and getting to know others through that ministry.

First Presbyterian really has become a family to us.  We are so thankful that God led us to such a great fellowship of people.

I will leave you with one of my favorite bible versus, 2 Corinthians 5:7: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

God is good.  ~Kristin
