Sunday School

Rainbows/Shooting Stars Families

What a joy to be in Sunday School!  Christian education is one of the most important ministries in which a church can engage.  We cherish those times of study that cause us to grow in our relationship with Jesus.  Our Sunday School has dedicated and gifted volunteers.  So, we welcome and invite children of all ages to grow in faith, love, and obedience to the will of God.

Nursery (Ages birth – 2 years) — 9:45am – 11:15am  The nursery is located on the main level next to the pastor’s office

Sunday school youth are released from the worship service typically after the anthem or children’s message.

Rainbows (age 3-Kindergarten) use “Spark: Activate Faith”, a two-year curriculum. Kids explore Old Testament stories each fall and New Testament stories in winter and spring. The Rainbows classroom is located in the basement at the south end of the building. (Directional signs are located at the south end of Fellowship Hall).

Shooting Stars (1st-5th grades) use “Holy Moly” which is an online curriculum and includes ten units that can be covered in two years, spanning the Old Testament and New Testament.  The Shooting Stars classroom is located in the basement at the north end of the building.  (Directional signs are located at the north end of Fellowship Hall).
